Zeus

Born in Caracas, VE, the artist Zeus Milenko Steven Salas currently lives and creates in Budapest. He left his home at an early age for Argentina; there, he grabbed a brush and began painting, with no prior skill - and hasn't stopped since. From small drawings to large-format canvases, his disciplined work ethic brings to life mythical, emotive and captivating visual worlds with symbols, unique characters, and bold colors.

His works are compelling invitations to viewers to challenge their perceptions of their own realities. He has already exhibited in Paris, Buenos Aires, and Budapest, and many of his paintings are now in private collections from Costa Rica to Hong Kong. He is also a performer and frequent collaborator with various brands, magazines, and art events. Founding member of STUDIO22, a studio art space in downtown Budapest.
