My name is Réka Ladányi, I was born in 1996 in Szeged, I have been painting for 3 years, I am a self-taught artist.
My paintings focus on curvy shapes, shapely butts and hips, all of them in vibrant crazy colours.
My acrylic paintings have one of the most important messages of our time: feel good in your body, in your life, in your relationships!
I think that one of the greatest tasks of our lives is to have a healthy relationship with ourselves and our environment, to find out the reasons for our behaviour and the behaviour of others, to understand, accept, let go of them, work on these feelings in order to feel better in our skin, in our lives, in our relationships.
My abstract paintings, with their interlocking and disconnected elements, as well as the butt and torso paintings, reflect this struggle in playful, boho shapes and colours, emphasising that no matter how serious our feelings and difficulties, we need to look at life and ourselves from a slightly more relaxed and optimistic perspective, as this is the 'sweetener' that can lift us up.
